Subject:
various dried flower arrangements
IP: Logged
Message:
I have recently started making various dried flower arrangements for sale. I need arrangement and color ideas. Where is the best place to go. I do have a few books,
but I need a wider varity of ideas. Also, if I sell my arrangements at a swap meet, craft show, mall, etc., how do my customers carry these arrangements around during
their shopping day, until they go to their car at the end of the day.
Thx

I would suggest attending many art and craft shows for ideas. Also, visit libraries and good book stores for more reference material.
We can also suggest specific material. For instance, we love using artemisia, sweet annie, or lemon leaves as the main filler for our wreaths. We then accent with
english statice, strawflowers and/or larkspur (my personnel favorite). Finally, we soften the wreath by adding our single baby's breath. A sample can be viewed on
our 'Finished Items' page.
When retailing finished items, we always offer to hold the item until the customer is ready to leave the show. We have very large, clear plastic bags that will protect
items from rain or wind.
Hope this helps,
D. Scott
