Hello I have a road side stand on Long Island and have tried growing Larkspur from plugs planted in the spring, for the past 2 years with terrible results. Is it
better to plant from seed directly in the fall. Thanks You have a great site

Larkspur does not like to be transplanted. It is best to sow direct and this can be done either in fall or in early spring. We have found that the seed likes cool
nights and a lot of moisture to really get going.
Good luck,
D. Scott
