Wedding bouquet.

I have a bouquet of flowers (which were my wedding bouquet) which I had dried - now 3 1/2 years ago. They have kept very well, however I am nervous that they will
not last as long as I would hope. I was wondering if they would last longer/better if I sprayed them with a clear varnish to make them stronger/less fragile. Any
thoughts?
Thank you.

First of all, you should be very proud that you dried them well enough to last as long as they have; drieds do not last forever. Congratulations!
As per the spray, I generally do not recommend it. This is a bit of an unusual situation though in that you really would like them to last forever. It probably
would not hurt.
Most importantly though, keep them from as much light as possible (this will maintain their color as long as possible). Also, keep them out of extreme dry environments
(e.g. forced air heat during this brutal winter).
Good luck.

An alternative method for you to keep these flowers is something my Mother did. She had her wedding flowers on display at their 60th wedding anniversary celebration.
Since the flowers will eventually fall appart, I suggest you keep them in a small tin box, such as a small candy or cookie tin. What a wonderful momento you will
then have in years to come. Good luck. Lee
